The Covertec Luxury Leather Flip Case for the Palm Pre is a solid combination of a leather flip case and a hard snap case, providing protection and class in a single package. Inside is the bottom half of a snap case, serving as a mounting point for the Pre, while the outside is wrapped in soft fine grain leather with tastefully contrasting stitching. This flip case strikes a balance between protection and style that few cases have, but it is not without its faults.

Despite its thickness, the Covertec Luxury Leather Flip Case is an attractive way to protect and carry your Pre. With options like the detachable belt clip and a magnetic flap that secures both open and closed, the case is very versatile. Sadly, the case is so thick that it is difficult to use with wired headphones and the small camera cutout means that the case will appear in all your photos.

Great Secure Case!

Pros: Secure, and well made
Cons: Belt clip screw too long, hard to get phone out

This case is awesome. I am so glad I got it seeing as how i often dont treat my phones with the utmost respect. This helps pretect it in pocket or in my purse.

Its a little bulky, and the belt clip didnt work out for me, but other than that, works perfectly!

This is a really sturdy and nice looking case. I like it a lot, but it has a few problems. First, I thgink it was designed to leave the pre in all the time. Thats great if you charge by USB, but if you use the Touchstone you have to take it out, and its very difficult to pry the phone out of the molded plastic interior of the case.

Also, the screw that holds the part that clips into the belt clip is too long. If you screw it in all the way the screw head protrudes and it wont fit in the clip. The workaround is to not screw it all the way in, leaving a gap between the case and the clip part. Not terrible, but not ideal.

Overall, this is a very nice case, but it could have used a little more work before being released.

GREAT CASE - poor clip

Pros: Excellent case, fits unit well.
Cons: Worst clip release design.

Excellent looking case, belt clip that came with it is pathetic...can only release phone if you grab the phone with your other hand, no "one thumb" release like most other clips have. (I fixed it by silver soldering an old Innopocket clip bolt, and using the fine metal clip that came with my old Treo case.

Cons: Difficult to remove, Bad screw and/or hole threads machining for clip, Camera lense and flash cutout not flush

This is my second of this Covertec case...sent the first one back as the screw would not go all the way in to become recessed for the clip to work....could only get it to make 2 turns. I am sending this one back for the same reason and because the cutout over the camera is not done with precision and covers the flash so that pictures have a white fuzz in all four corners. Its a sharp looking case and does hold the phone securely, but the quality overall is lacking. Ill be going with either the Piel Frama iMagnum Leather Case or the Seidio Innocase and holder combo as both fulfill the function and/or look I am seeking. The PreCentral customer service department ROCKS! and makes returns/exchanged VERY easy.
