HP TouchPad invisibleSHIELD Full Body

Product Description

Your search for a Palm Pre case, skin, or cover is now over. ZAGG's invisibleSHIELD is an exceptionally clear and virtually indestructible film that will protect your Pre from unsightly scratches. The exclusive, patented film – with nano-memory technology– covers and shields your device, keeping it as pristine as the day you took it out of the box.

The precision pre-cut invisibleSHIELD applies directly to your Pre, providing the toughest, most durable protection you will find. The invisibleSHIELD has its origins in the military, where it was used to protect high-speed helicopter blades from dust, dirt and debris. Now you can use that same powerful technology to protect your Pre.

The invisibleSHIELD is only .2 millimeters thick making it the slimmest Pre skin or Pre cover of its kind. It is so tough that Zagg will back it with a lifetime guarantee. So, if it ever does wear or scratch, they will replace it for free, for the life of your device. And if you ever need to remove the invisibleSHIELD, no problem, it comes off clean and leaves no sticky residue.

  • Scratch-Proof, patented film
  • Military Grade
  • Lifetime Guarantee
  • No added bulk
  • Improves grip
  • Invisible protection
  • Easy to remove, leaving no sticky residue

StarStarStarStarStar invisibleSHIELD Works Great
User: Mr Jay, May 17, 2010

Pros:  Screen protection & easier to hold
Cons:  Installation was a little difficult, but the online videos helped alot.

The screen is very clear, its well protected and makes the slider easier to open. This is not a cheap screen protector. I read a lot of reviews this is the best.
StarStarStarStarStar Patience!
User: Tim Tait, May 2, 2010

Pros:  Unprecedented protection
Cons:  -

Installation can be tricky, but some patience will pay off. Nothing provides the protection of these shields. Ive used them for years on every device I have. Keep the shield wet, keep your fingers wet, and keep rewetting it during application. And then leave it along for several hours. Sure, it wont be out-of-the-box pretty, but it will be absolutely protected. Not happy? Take it off and try again. Yes, it will go back on.

Bought and installed less than an hour after than buying Pre.
StarStarStarStarStar Who needs a case?
User: Mr Bill, Dec 21, 2009

Pros:  Resilient, Dust Resistant
Cons:  Not easy to install, Peeling on corners

I bought this a couple of months ago and havent looked back. I have thrown it in my tool pouch, pockets with change and other metals (drywall screws) with no damage. I have not had a real issue yet. I dont like holsters because I dont trust the clips that are on them. I always fear the the phone will fall off and I lose it.

At restaurants and pubs I have had no issues either with liquids or caulking from fire proofing penetrations in my electrical work. Wipes clean easily. It is no a dust magnet either unlike other screens I have used.

I did have some peeling on the corners due to over stretching the corners. It was my first install and have installed this on other products and Pres without issues I had on my first install. So first time novices you have to be patient to insure a good application or have someone else do it. Im glad I did myself I plan to use Invisisheild on other products in the future. It does what is says it does. It is the best protection out there.
StarStarStarStarStar Protection & Grip, without sacrificing sleek design
User: photopearl 9, Oct 31, 2009

Pros:  No more scratches, chips, even fingerprint smudges easier to hold
Cons:  None, since i didnt install it myself

Worth every cent I paid. It protects the screen and back very well. Nice and durable, not like the cheaper protection screens that are obviously, well, cheap. Makes the slider easier to open too and it doesnt slip around as easily, especially if its sitting on the suede Pre case. I got my Pre fitted with InvisibleShield at the mall. The employee at the kiosk did a great job. My roommate also got one of these for her iphone. It got jammed between her car seat and e-brake. The shield was screwed up but her phone was perfect. They replaced the shield for free (The lifetime guarantee is fantastic). Definitely recommend getting InvisibleShield for any electronic device, expensive or otherwise (they do ipods, digicams and even laptops)
StarStarStarStarStar Spectacular protection - have invisibleSHIELD do installation
User: Michael Dun, Aug 22, 2009

Pros:  VERY durable, improved tactile performance, less fingerprint smudges
Cons:  Difficult to apply

I chose to have mine installed by an invisibleSHIELD retailer (a kiosk in a mall), and it was very difficult, even for an experienced person to do the application. The "technician" also carefully trimmed a very small amount of the film away on the side of the USB port, as it would have prevented the cover from being opened easily.

I watched their technique and was interested to see that after cleaning the phone they misted the phone, the film and their fingers with some kind of solution before application. It wasnt isopropyl alcohol, but it also didnt appear to just be water. By having the layer of liquid, they were able to more easily adjust the film before final application, and ALL bubbles were removed successfully. A hair dryer (I think on low) was then used to speed the evaporation of the liquid before doing some final touch-ups. No cases or pockets for it for the next 24 hours while it cured.

It was worth the $5 install fee I paid, and the shield is still perfect more than a month later!
