Product Description

Introducing the newest addition to the Aliph Jawbone series, the ICON Bluetooth Headset.

Originally developed for use in tanks and helicopters, Jawbone ICON's NoiseAssassin is a proprietary technology that eliminates background noise from mobile phone conversations. Jawbone is the only Bluetooth headset with a Voice Activity Sensor (VAS) that actually feels your speech, which helps Jawbone distinguish your voice from background noise. As a result, Jawbone offers better audio quality than any other headset on the market.

Jawbone Talks to You

  • Custom ICON audio tones whisper important information like remaining battery life and caller ID into your ear.

MyTALK Brings ICON to Life

  • Introducing our most significant innovation since NoiseAssassin®. You can now dynamically update and personalize each individual Jawbone ICON with an array of convenient apps.

Connect to Multiple Phones

  • Simultaneous Multipoint means that your Jawbone ICON can manage two calls from two different phones at the same time. For example, you can be on a call with your personal phone and then answer a call on your work phone and seamlessly switch between each call. Jawbone ICON handles the experience with the simplicity of traditional call-waiting.

Innovative Wind Reduction Technology

  •  Be free to keep your conversation going while walking down a gusty street because our team of scientists developed a unique Digital Sensor Signal Fusion system to reduce wind noise. ICON uses an algorithm that digitally fuses together the best audio from its two electret microphones and its patented Voice Activity Sensor to create a single, natural sounding speech signal.

Battery Meter for iPhone

  • Your Jawbone ICON's remaining battery life is displayed on your iPhone's status bar

Please Note: Jawbone products purchased from this store do not come with a manufacturer warranty.

Universal Compatibility: Works with any Bluetooth enabled cellphone or smartphone.

Jawbone Icon Bluetooth Headset
Reviewed by Derek Kessler
Jawbone headsets have been regarded as the gold standard in both audio quality and design for years, a tradition that the Jawbone Icon Bluetooth headset continues with aplomb. Going back to the original wired Jawbone headset from 2004, Aliph’s headsets have always been at the forefront of aesthetics and noise cancellation. The new Icon series of headsets does not disappoint, picking up a more compact design while still packing in even better noise cancellation technology. Even better, the Icon recently snagged a firmware update that adds in A2DP for Bluetooth music listening. As always, the newest Jawbone is easily one of the best headsets available on the market.

StarStarStarStarStar Had the Rogue, Washed it, MISS it
User: H p, Dec 19, 2010

Pros:  Clear sound, Picks up my voice
Cons:  ????

I had the Rogue, picked it out as part of a package when I bought the Pre. Did not think it would work with my voice.

I have extream trouble with any handsfree device picking up my voice. Even the VOCERA at work. did not think this would be any diffrent.

Wrong.. My hard of hearing father could understand all of my words not just part of them. Yea!

..Then it was left in a pocket and put through a compleate laundry cycle including drying :-(

After Christmas hopefuly I can find the Rogue again. I like the hint of red.
StarStarStarStarStar Sweet Little headset

Pros:  small, multiple tips for indvidual comfort, great noise cancellation, multiple voice interface options
Cons:  none that i can find yet

bought the heaset and love it so far. most inner ear pieces make my ears hurt with in minutes. the icon comes with six different sizes and the ear hook is optional. the fit is very secure without the hook. i have only partial hearing in right ear and voices come out loud and clear! i have had to use left ear on other devices, not this one! also it uses a microUSB plug for charging. as that is coming to be a very popular cross platform type it means your car charger for your phone may work! pretty sweet that i didnt have to buy another car charger or tip for my iGo! the customizable voice prompts are good for a laugh, one of the easiest to pair with a phone. no complaints yet!
StarStarStarStarStar Jawbone Icon

I have tried 4 different Bluetooth Headsets over the past 6 months, from Plantronics to Blueant. All of which had there various flaws, but the Jawbone Icon excels the others in the most important categories minus battery life. The only thing I would suggest theyd add would be a carrying case with a rechargeable battery like Plantronics offers. That would be the icing on the Icon Cake, otherwise GOOD JOB.

Pros:  Has all funtionality that every headset wants.
Cons:  None... I can deal with short charging and no volume.

I jsut recently purchased the latest Jawbone ICON, I traded up from the Jawbone 2 and have tried numberous ones withing airports and elextronic store around the US. This one does with the short comings of the previous ones, such as fit and charging. The fit options are great and mine fits comfortable and secure. The charging is great with micro USB much better than the magnet from previous models. The quality and flawless bluetooth with my palm pre is fantastic. I would recommend it to anyone with a palm pre.

Pros:  Great Quality
Cons:  -

I have a jeep wrangler with a soft top. Its been really hard to find a headset with great noise cancellation and good volume. I have tried all previous versions of Jawbone, the Voyager Pro, and a few stereo headsets. All excelled in one aspect and failed in another. This seems to fulfill all my needs. I can actually hear the callers in my noisy jeep and the noise cancellation is great. Fit is good, headset is light, and the addition of a button thats not actually secretly hidden to accept calls d such as well as a dedicated power button are all welcome additions. Lack of a dedicated volume button may bother some but hasnt been an issue for me especially since it remembers my last volume setting. The voice prompts for incoming calls and battery life etc are also a nice touch and makes the unit feel even more "high end". Sooooo... so far so good! Good quality, good features, and a fair price.
