Fantastic slip case to protect your Pre
I had a leather slip case with my work BB and was keen to get something to protect it that let me slip it in my jacket or shirt or trouser/jean pockets. Fits the bill perfectly, has protected the Pre 2 faultlessly and is lasting with no issues.

Pros: Good protection, lightweight, thin
Cons: A little sticky getting it out of the case
So-so product
This case is a bit of a disappointment. Its really thin, which means that its light and small, but offers little of the added protection Id hoped for. In fact, its so thin that it feels very cheap. It feels like cardboard, with a little something around it (doesnt even seem like leather).
The phone is hard to get in and out, but Im hoping this will improve as the leather gets a little softer.
I kind of wish I hadnt spent the money on this, but its better than nothing. Questionable if its better or worse than the cloth case the Pre comes with.

Ive also been a fan of leather slip cases (not everyone is) because I like to keep my phone in my pocket. I dont like belt clips. I want something thin, attractive (but still appropriate for a professional man), and which gives a little protection. I had a great one for my Blackberry. This case is a bit of a disappointment. Falls appart easily

The slip case initiallyw as exactly what I was looking for. I like the fact that the slip case is side loading insead of top loading. I feel like that makes it easier to quickly access the phone. Its very streamlined. However, after three weeks of use, the edged around the opening came appart! The leather separated from the lining that touches the phone, and now instead of two lips it has four. When the first side did it, I glued it back together, but the very next day the other side split, too. VERY dissapointing for something that I paid so much for. Additionally, there is no headphone jack access while it is in the case, which is pretty inconvenient. I started out loving it, and now hate it.
