Pros:  so convienent !
Cons:  somethings the hang up button doesnt hang up

I keep this in my car and when ever I drive I just pop on bud in my ear and if I get a phone call I just press the button and it can answer and hangs up. It plays your ringtone and textone too. Also, It has a tangle free cord.

I think these are pretty good earbuds. I have sensitive ears but lack the funds for a really nice pair. What I have came free with the phone and they are more comfortable than other earbuds I have purchased. The sound quality is actually really good, I plugged them into my computer to see how they would sound with a little more power behind them and they functioned rather well. The magnetic pieces on the side are convenient and keep them in place behind your neck. I havent tested them as a handless unit, but I am sure if they work as well as the rest of it I will be very satisfied.
StarStarStarStarStar Simple, Effective Headset for Pre
User: Realist Dreamer, Jun 28, 2009

Pros:  Magnets, Lanyard Tie, Mulitpurpose Button
Cons:  None

First off, dont expect ear-popping bass from this design. Not that bass is lacking, just that some expect little drivers to do the same as big drivers.

This is a minimalist inspired headset. Everything is simple, well though out and effective. A "lanyard tie" ties the right and left cords together to minimize knotting. Small magnets on the outside of the earbuds link them together for the same purpose.

The multipurpose button controls talking and Pandora, including pause, play and FF. Mic works fine and is just the right distance down the cord.

Oh yeah. Sound quality. Quite good on the Pre using Pandora and the music app. Not sure of the db sensitivity rating, but loud enough to get inspired at the gym. Thats how I judge my headphones.

Last week, played a warmup set of tennis with these in my ear and they seldom came loose. Took a call during warming up and could easily hold a conversation, play and then switch back to Pandora after the call - Nice!

These sound pretty good for being the included headset with the phone, but this style never stays in my ears very well. Thats no fault of the design, but Palm needs to replicate this headset with in-ear headphones as well, and Ill be first in line to buy it. Love the minimal cord, mic and control button.

These are poorly made. Im on my fourth set. For whatever reason, palm hasnt mastered wiring. Between these and the USB cable, Ive spent well over $75 on replacements. Not again, Ive given up on them.
