Pros: Nice form and color selection
Cons: Not very durable

This unfortunately is my third back cover. Theyre not very durable- the rubberized backing tends to peel off at the edges and the Palm logo easily rubs off too. My last two covers only lasted about 6-9 months.

Best option for touchstone, but has real flaws

Ive lost count on how many of these things Ive gone through. I destroyed the original one, destroyed a replacement one Palm sent me, and destroyed a few Ive bought. Heres what you need to know:

* expect the door covering the charger to break the metal piece will like detach first, then the loose door flap will snag on something you might as well just cut it off at the start to save time
* the plastic that forms the cases frame breaks easily for me it always breaks around the volume buttons once that happens the case is still plenty usable, but opens you up more to dirt getting into your device and the rubbery cover will now be easier to damage
* you should probably buy two at first, then buy one more each time the one you are using breaks, so that you always have a replacement on hand since youre going to need it every few months

I found the green one in a store and fell in love. About 2 weeks after purchase the metal piece that closes the chargeing fllap came off, a couple more weeks go by and i notice the rubber is peeling away from the frame. i currently have it scotch taped to keep it together as the smooth black one i got with my phone has done the same thing. not sure why this is happening but i dont think i should have to buy a new backing every 3-4months and now that you cant find them in stores its abbit annoying.

Pros: Looks attractive and has a nice feel
Cons: Not very durable

Love the feel and look of the case but like a former reviewer I had the tab covering the charging port fall off after only opening and closing it maybe 10 times. I dont feel that I was rough on the phone and the first time I opened it, I remember thinking that it would be coming off long before the life of my phone ended.

Pretty in Pink

Pros: Colorful, no fingerprints
Cons: Cant put ghost armor over the dimpled back

I bought the pink one and I am very happy with it thus far.
Unfortunately, I had wanted to fully protect my phone with ghost armor, but had to go with just the screen cover option because the ghost armor cant be applied over the dimpled back, Id love it if palm made colorful smooth backs ^_^
The other thing is, other colors and dirt shows up VERY easily on the pink and it appears to be wearing on the power button and volume buttons.
I would still buy another one, and in fact I have 3 of the colored ones. Its a neat way to personalize my pixi and I love this product!

It looks ans feels great but works on one charging dock but not both. I have two touchstone docks because I have a pixi and a pre. This cover doesnt seem to work on the older dock i have. The original cover works fine on the old dock but this cover only works on the newer dock. Just me?

Pros: feel/look/durability
Cons: cheap "palm" lettering on backside

as far as functionality the cover is great so far, works fine. feels nice. however the silver p in the "palm" lettering on the back came off pretty easily, afetr that i removed the rest. apparently they are just cheap stickers? it looks cool without it just black "palm" indentions, but... wish they would have put more quality into it i guess...

Pros: Great feel, no finger prints
Cons: broken flap

Love this battery cover. Nice rubberized feel. Dont leave fingerprints. Easy to put on yet it stays on very well. However, there is a metal piece glued to the flap covering the charging port which holds the flap closed. Mine fell off now the flap is always open. Anyone have this issue? Im going to see if sprint or palm will warranty it.

Its great! for a couple months..

This cover is made in two layers: a very thin plastic frame with a rubberized coating. The frame is extremely thin and in the areas around the volume buttons and the power port the plastic tends to crack which leads to the cover pulling way from the phone. Also, the flap that covers the power port is held closed by a little metal tab that touches a small magnet. The metal tab sits in an indentation in the flap and it doesnt take long for it to pull out of its seat and just stick to the magnet- or fall out all together. I am about the purchase my 3rd cover in less than a year. It would be nice if they could figure out a way to make a more durable touchstone compatible cover. Id spend a little more if I could get one that lasted over a year. Otherwise, the color and overall feel was nice.
