Product Description

This Touchstone base is perfect as an additional charging dock for your home or office. Wall Charger and Back Cover not included - see Touchstone Kits for savings if you require those.

Wall Charger not included; this kit requires the charger provided with your Pre to function ( Palm recommends using their OEM wall charger for proper functionality )

Simply place your Palm Pre on the Touchstone, and it magnetically snaps into place and begins charging. In addition, while on a call your Pre automatically enables the speakerphone when docked to the Touchstone.

Unique Touchstone Call Features

Place your phone on the Charging Dock when you're on a call and its speakerphone automatically turns on
Pick your phone up from the Charging Dock while you're on speakerphone and the conversation is automatically routed back to the phone
For incoming phone calls, simply pick up the phone from the Charging Dock and it answers automatically, without having to tap the screen
When the phone is not in use Nightstand mode displays the time and incoming notifications

Pros: Very cool, phone always fully charged
Cons: none

I would recommend buying one or more of these if you like and value your Pre - this is definitely cool, unique and very functional.

Most importantly, they wont be around forever.

Touchstone Allows continued usage

Pros: Cant keep a protective case on the back of the phone
Cons: Allows me continued usage when usb port fails

I believe this is the only phone that Verizon allows a free Hot Spot. With that said this phone is very important to me because of the areas I get into with out WiFi service. My Phones USB port broke down because of almost 2 years of usage. The Touchstone has saved me and allows me to keep using my Palm Pre Plus when I thought all was lost. Thanks for making this an Option on my phone. I appreciate it!

I just recently bought this and I love it. I own the Pre Plus so the back cover is already included. The device charges and displays the time right on the phone as it is charging so there is no need to wake up the phone. However there are some downfalls the main one is that it doesnt "fix" itself if you dont have it in the correct position. The other issue is it doesnt automatically switch to speaker phone when you place the phone on the TouchStone. Overall I love the TouchStone and it is a great device. There is only a few downfalls to the device, but other than that it is a device any Palm users should own.

Touchstone is easy, handy

I just couldnt have a Pre without buying Touchstone. The charging dock is so handy. The Pre, like other top smartphones (read that as iPhone), draws the battery down pretty fast if you use it a lot.

I rack up a couple of hours or more of talk time each day. Plus all that data stuff. Which can make it pretty low by the end of the day. The only day I actually zeroed it out was day #1 when the battery came in half charged.

I had to wait for the Touchstone to arrive. And now its handy to have Touchstone on my desk. Sitting at the desk, the phone charges easily, quickly answered with no cables, plugs, or complications. Battery stays charged up, and phone stays accessible.

I use the phone all day. When Im at the desk, I just set it on the charger and it recharges. Its a handy place to set the phone, and it charges at the same time. Its the easiest charger Ive ever had. And it makes a slightly annoying cell phone chore (regular charging) into nothing.
