Ive had this case for 8 or 9 months. It is very durable and my pre has held up extremely well (no scratches or wear and tear). If youre looking for complete protection while still being able to carry the phone in your pants pocket, this is the top contender.

Still like it after months

After 3 months, I still like this case. I even added a Skinomi cover for the face of the phone and Egrips on the back, and the phone still slides easily in and out. I waited awhile before adding them, because I was worried that they would make the phone too thick, but the leather stretched after a short time so that I could add them without causing much difficulty.

If youre a minimalist like me, youll love this case. It is definitely slim & light as advertised, and I like the way my Pre looks in it - the unadorned black leather gives a professional appearance to your Pre. I love the look of this case.

As far as functionality goes, it is very easy to take the Pre in and out of the case using the pull-ribbon. Mine is a very snug fit, however, so use of the ribbon is pretty much necessary to remove my Pre.

However, the case I received certainly does NOT meet the product description stating that "the interior of the case is lined with a silky, velvet material." The material lining my case is coarse, rough, and I wish it were more plush

Simple elegant design thin form factor but stiff enough to offer some extra protection. Easily removable with either the pull tab or by gripping upper sides of phone. Phone fits perfectly.

I have ordered many cases for my pre. All I want is a nice stiff leather case that will go in my front leg pocket. All the cases I have purchased make it hard to use phone or are to big. Most even have a magnetic clasp that will in time scratch the phone on the inside of case. When I opened the package I said "this is the one, itls perfect".
I am a full time firefighter and my phone can get beat up. With this case it will last forever.

Im not usually a fan of buying online site-unseen, but in this case I got exactly what I hoped Id get. The case is very well made, fits perfectly and the pull tab works really well. Its much smaller in my pocket than the Palm slip pouch and much, much easier to get out of my pocket than the cloth pouch that came with the Pre. Im a fan.

I love this pouch. You just have to look at what side the tab goes on before you insert your phone but thats being picky.

I like the case for the Palm Pre. I would have preferred if the inside of the case was covered in that same material as the case that came with phone, as it cleans the screen every time you pull it out. Other than that I feel that the case is a bit loose around the phone. I would be a better fit if it squeezed the phone a bit.

Other than that, the case looks nice, the material feels nice and it is a hell of a lot better than sticking the phone in that cheap case that came with it and sticking it in my pocket.

Pros: Sturdy, Slim, Good Protection
Cons: Ribbon Pull Worries Me

I would recommend this case because it seems to protect the Pre well, while giving access to the headphone jack and power button. I feel that it is as slim as it could be while still giving good protection. I have to say that I worry about the "pull ribbon" as it seems to be kind of thin and may wear with time. But overall a solid case at a reasonable price.

I got this case a few weeks ago and really like it. The styling is good, and it looks similar to my wallet.
The case provides adequate protection. I sometimes forget and throw my phone in my pocket with my keys. The case is slightly scuffed from this, like my leather wallet, but my phone is safe.
Before I purchased it, I thought the ribbon was to help pull the case out of my pocket. The ribbon actually folds under the phone so that it slightly raises the phone from the case when pulled. This is a very cool feature. When I showed it to my friend with an iPhone he wanted to know if he could get one for his phone.
The only reason I took off one star is because I have to sometimes flop the ribbon to one side before putting the phone back in the case. The ribbon feeds up through the side of the case to help prevent this, but they should have secured the ribbon higher up inside the case to stop it.

Cons: scratches screen

I have used this for two weeks before noticing that the interior is not soft enough to protect the device. I have vertical scratches on the screen. Also, It really is not that slim. STAY AWAY
